August 9 and 10, 2021 (Las Vegas, Nevada): The 2021 PGA Buying and Education Summit was held for two (2) days at the JW Marriott Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Of note, for many years prior, this meeting was held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center at the LV Strip. However, for the first year, this was a new format with a specific focus on the buyers and the educational conferences during the two day summit. Since this was a brand new format, this article will focus on new and first time exhibitors to emphasize their new products being introduced to the golf merchandise and market place. In particular, the following companies will be discussed: 1. MANTL ( These are brand new skin care products especially designed for the male golfer. For example, one of the products was an invisible combination sunscreen and facial moisturizer which included an SPF 30. Another new product launched was an Age Defense facial and scalp moisturizer for shaved men. 2. ROOSTAS ( This Tennessee based company just launched their line of unisex golf belts with a very reasonable price entry point of less than $US50.00 There were five (5) lines introduced in 2021:  A. Tri-Color Series; B. Chevron Serires; C. Herrringbone Series; D. X-Series; and E. Solid Series. Each belt is divided into three (3) simple size categories by waist: Small (26 to 32), Medium (34 to 38), and Large (40 to 46). This is made possible due to the highly stretchable material used to manufacture the belt which makes this a unique product in this market; 3. GREEN GOAT ( the first time exhibitors highlighted their various products from golf T-shirts, golf gloves, golf headcovers with one common theme: the green Greaterst Of All Time. The Orange County, CA based company has offered these apparel and accessories since the beginning of the year and steadily been adopted by several West Coast golf proshops as part of their inventory. 4. REVO ( this sunglass company makes its entry point into the golf eyewear market with the introduction in 2021 of the foldable golf sunglasses. This lightweight and compact pair fits in the palm of one's hand and retails under $US200.00. The case will come in the near future. 5. SANSOLEIL ( this apparel company focuses on the ladies' golf wear and apparel. Examples of 2021 products include: A. SolTek LUX: UV 50+ Cooling Nylon with 8% Spandex, this jacquard stretchy pique' has a cotton like feel which is luxuriously soft, quick drying and has ultra cooling nylon technology, B. SolShine: UV 50+, 92% Polyester with 8% Spandex, this is a fine, lightweight stretchy knit in a textured crepe brand. This is an Orange County, CA based company. This completes the coverage of some of the important first time exhibitors for the newly formatted 2021 PGA Buying and Education Summit in Las Vegas. The coverage will continue into the much anticipated 2022 Annua PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida coming January 2022.
