El Paso’s Kauzie Xhrist97 is making big waves in underground music.
Growing up I was always surrounded by music I was singing and dancing to my grandmother's oldie but goodies’ “Greatest Hits”, and by the time I hit the age of  8 I was already rapping along to N.W.A and Eminem, Then at that point, I knew I wanted to be a rapper. I have never really been embarrassed about anything, I've always known how to laugh at my pain or even laugh in general, growing up I was a real dork as a child.
The best piece of advice I’ve been given was” to never be afraid and always take chances." My biggest old school influences are and always will be "Jedi Mind Tricks” and ”6lack "& "DC Young Fly.” Watching all the greats on T.V, adored and cheered by so many screaming crazy fans, made me dream of being somebody that can make a difference in the World making while making huge impacts on those around me.
My creative process would have to start with a couple of cold beers and after well, a magician never reveals his secrets. My favorite collaborations are with my good friend and mentor "Santo Fino" also with my childhood brother from another mother "West Mind.” If I’m trying to get a message out it's never subliminal in any of my music. It’s all love when I can get a one on one with a fan usually it’s for advice. Any advice I have for someone I’d say
“Do ya thang mayne/ F*** what they looking at!”
